An important part of teamwork is
practice. This is the time you
learn the game and the skills to play well.
|
 |
To learn game skills and
strategy, it is important that players attend practices.
Your coach will notify you as to the location and the day/time of
practices. Generally, practices are held once or twice a week at local
schools or parks. Coaches should be notified ahead of time if a practice
will be missed.
|
 |
See that players are on time,
and have transportation to practices and games.
This is not the responsibility of the coach. If you are unable to stay
during practice, please don't be late picking up your child, the coach
is not a babysitter.
|
 |
Excessive absence from practices
and games is sufficient cause to contact
parents and discuss with the Player and Parents continuation or
suspension from the team.
|
 |
All players who attend practices
and are in attendance for the entire game will play at least half the
game, excluding overtime. All others will play a minimum of one
'quarter'.
|
 |
A player not showing up for
either practices or games for three consecutive weeks,
without notifying the Coach, will be considered as having left the
program. If they had been issued a uniform, it must be turned in. |
